Outside The Gender Circle

As we become less tolerant, we also become more reactive. Every time we come across any suggestions, questions, or anything that goes against our will, we react. Most of the time, we have to adopt pragmatism. Our Pragmatic approach in answering questions against us is limited to certain circumstances, like if the one who questions is dominant or powerful. We usually do not prefer to answer rather than we answer questions by countering questions.

Society is a combination of male and female, and every time we talk about the success and development of a society, we acknowledge that it can’t be done without recognizing the importance of each gender. Nature has given equal importance to both genders with equal rights. However, some of us have a misunderstanding that males are dominant, and some others may have that females are more important. This is not the reality. When we look into nature’s division, we come to know that nature follows the rule of best fit for each task. Somewhere, males are prioritized, and somewhere, females are important. The human mind can’t evaluate or count all the affairs where nature has involved human beings. If this comes to our understanding, then we can understand that in nature’s lens, both male and female are considered equal.

Although the world has electronically and digitally progressed a lot but values like empathy, tolerance, acceptance, and other moral values are compromised. Males want to dominate by considering women as a weak member of society, and women want to take over the men. This struggle to dominate has disrupted the society’s progress.

We see different cases happen in our society. Sometimes males are the victims, and some of the times females suffer. If a woman who works somewhere get harassed, gets sexually abused, and is killed after being raped, society starts blaming all men for this individual act. Similarly, if a man becomes a victim of a woman’s harm, men start accusing all women of this individual act. Society has adopted a view that individual acts represent each gender’s thinking. If a male is not up to the mark, it means all men are not well-trained and raised. If a woman betrays, it means all women will do the same.

The betrayal by any individual is a mindset, not a representation of a specific class to which each individual belongs. I may not be a good man, but it does not mean that all other men are also not good. The gender discrimination and gender bias observation are one of the major reasons for the fall of a society. Mutual respect and acceptance are the only ways to make society’s way towards a developed one.

The individuals must be trained to be empathetic, tolerant, and morally strong, rather than limiting such training to a specific gender or class of society. This is the only way we can lead to the progress of our society. We should focus on mutual acceptance rather than finding ways to criticize each other.
